The Native Daughter is a collaborative creative space located in Sausalito, Ca.
It is the workshop & studio of Thayer Allyson Gowdy, a sun drenched Norcal photographer & director. You can check out her images of the good life HERE.
Thayer founded The Wilderness Workshop with her pops who resides 3000 miles from CA. She lives and works as a photographer in Northern California, while her pops, Joe Arborio, craftsman, lives and works in the Northeast Kingdom (Island Pond, Vermont). Together, despite the distance between them, they create beautiful works of art in the form of solder and stained glass. You can check out their outpost HERE.
The Native Daughter hosts a wide range of meetups, pops ups & educational events and workshops. From gallery shows, pop ups of good folks who make rad stuff, stick & poke tattoo, intuitive, sounds & crystal healing workshops, poetry readings, record & tea parties, rock trading and craft nights to creative classes on photography and portfolio editing.
